Alisa Küper is a research assistant at the "Chair of Social Psychology: Media and Communication" of the "Department of Computer Science and Applied Cognitive Science" at the University of Duisburg-Essen. There, she completed her bachelor's and master's studies in applied cognitive and media science from 2013 to 2019, in the master's with a specialization in psychology. As a research assistant, she is now dedicated to researching acceptance of medical support systems, including factors such as trust in and experience in dealing with such systems. In addition, she is investigating the influences of cognitive biases on medical decisions and how clinical decision support systems can counteract them to best support physicians in their decision making. Her general research interests are in human-computer interaction, technology acceptance, and "Explainable AI".
