Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Stang, MPH, is Director of the Institute for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology at the University Hospital Essen. For many years he has been working on the epidemiology of skin cancer and on the evaluation of the German skin cancer screening program. At the same time, he is medical director of the NRW State Cancer Registry in Bochum. Furthermore, he is adjunct professor at the Department of Epidemiology, School of Public Health, Boston University.
