Hendrik Damm joined RTG as a doctoral researcher after completing a Master's degree in Medical Informatics at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund in 2023. In their master’s thesis, they explored natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs), with a focus on applying these technologies in healthcare. Prior to starting their PhD, Hendrik Damm worked as a data manager at the University Hospital Münster and as a researcher at the Medical High School Hannover, contributing to HighMed Use Cases. Their primary research interests include advancing AI-driven healthcare solutions and ensuring that these innovations translate effectively to the point of care for improved patient outcomes.
