Meet-The-Expert Wil van der Aalst

What do hospitals and pizza have in common? More than one might think, at least when it comes to processes.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Prof. Wil van der Aalst from RWTH Aachen University for an interesting day on Process Mining.

Through expert talks and live demos, we explored Process Discovery and Conformance Checking — and how data can help us understand what is actually happening in complex processes.

We had a hands-on session using our own hospital FHIR data of patients, exploring what we can learn from our clinical processes.

A fantastic day of learning, experimenting, discussing, and brainstorming.
