Summer School 2022

Within the framework of the research training group WisPerMed, a three-day summer school took place from September 6 to September 8. 13 PhD students and professors from the University of Duisburg-Essen, the University Hospital Essen and the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund participated. The topics were biomedical language processing, sustainability in research and soft skills. External speakers included Prof. Dr. Sophia Ananiadou (University of Manchester), Prof. Dr. Udo Hahn (Friedrich Schiller University Jena), Prof. Dr. Ana Isabel Casas (University of Duisburg-Essen) and Dr. Henning Timm (University of Duisburg-Essen). The joint exchange on site provided valuable impulses for the PhD students as well as future research projects.
