Summer School 2023

From 29 to 31 August 2023 the WisPerMed research training group held their annual summer school event at Wald- und Golfhotel Lottental in Bochum. Renowned speakers from industry and science such as Prof. Dr. Sylvia Thun and Johannes Kast shared their insight on the state and challenges of data interoperability in Germany. A dedicated workshop on Multimodal Data Integration enabled the participants to develop a Smart-on-FHIR patient dashboard. Furthermore, experts from the field helped evaluate the real impact of gender on the medical and informatics aspects of individual research projects.
