Symposium - Future-Proofing Healthcare - Navigating Digital Transformation to the Point of Care

On 16th May 2024 the RTG WisPerMed hosted a symposium on innovative ideas and concepts for accelerating digitalization in practice. At Haus der Technik in Essen speakers from the most important German initiatives and projects - NUM, MII, Gematik, NFDI4Health, PM4Onco - shared current insights and discussed them with a diverse audience including medical professionals and data scientists. The RTG students from the first and the second cohort presented their project work during the poster session. Also select project prototypes were demonstrated to the audience. The panel discussion at the end of the day focused on solutions to the question of how research findings can be brought to the point of care.
